The easy studio. Paste a script, pick a voice, export a clean voiceover, no code needed. Around 200 voices in 20-odd languages, priced by the minute of audio (about $0.14 to 0.16). The catch: cloning your own voice is Enterprise-only.

What you'll pay

About $0.14 to 0.18 for a minute of finished voiceover. Narration is billed by how much text you turn into speech, not by call time.

That's roughly $8.40–10.80 an hour of audio. Plans: from $0/mo (Free) up to $66/mo (Business).

Murf is narration-first and priced by minutes of voice generation, not call minutes. Tiers: Free (10 min/mo), Creator $19/mo billed annually ($228/yr for 24 hrs/yr of generation), Business $66/mo ($792/yr for 96 hrs/yr), Enterprise custom. The per-minute figure here is the effective cost of generated audio: Creator works out at about $0.16/min ($228 ÷ 1,440 min), Business about $0.14/min ($792 ÷ 5,760 min). These are NOT real-time telephony agent rates. Voice cloning is Enterprise-only (Rapid or Professional, from ~2 minutes of audio). Murf advertises SOC 2 Type II and GDPR; not yet verified here from a primary certification page. SEPARATE PRODUCT: Murf also runs a real-time TTS API (Falcon) advertised at $0.01/min on murf.ai/api, aimed at live agents rather than studio narration. We model the narration product above; the Falcon API is a different, low-latency offering and is not folded into these figures.

Plans & what you get

Every plan in one place: the monthly fee, what each one includes, and the features it unlocks. Anything beyond a plan's allowance, or on a pay-as-you-go tier, is billed at the per-minute rate above. A blank in the features means the vendor's plan page does not state it for that plan, not that it is unavailable.

Each plan bundles a monthly character allowance: the text you turn into speech. Roughly 1,000 characters is a minute of audio, so the bracketed figure is the speaking time it covers.

· Plugging in your own phone-number supplier instead of using the platform's numbers. Handy if you already run your own phone setup. · Handing the call to a human with context: the AI briefs the person first, instead of a cold drop where the caller repeats themselves. · Kicking off a whole list of outbound calls at once, rather than dialling one at a time. · A standard way to let the agent use outside tools mid-call, like a booking system or your CRM. Our full take

Murf is the narration tool built for people who do not want to think about code. The pitch is a polished web studio: paste a script, pick from 200-plus voices across 20-odd languages, tune the emphasis and pacing in a timeline editor, and export. For a marketing team cutting an explainer video or a course creator narrating a module, that workflow is the whole point, and it is genuinely the easiest tool in this directory to get a usable result from on day one.

The pricing tells you it is a studio product, not developer infrastructure. You buy minutes of voice generation, not characters or call minutes. Creator is $19 a month billed annually, which is $228 for 24 hours of generation a year, and Business is $66 a month for 96 hours. Do the division and that is about $0.16 a minute of finished audio on Creator, $0.14 on Business. To line it up with the rest of the table we read that as a narration cost per minute, not a live-call rate. Murf does not do phone calls.

Where it gives ground is the developer and cloning story. Cloning your own voice is locked to the Enterprise plan (Rapid or Professional, from roughly two minutes of clean audio), so unlike ElevenLabs you cannot clone a voice on a cheap self-serve tier. If a custom brand voice on a budget is the requirement, that gate matters.

Murf advertises SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance, but we have not linked those to a primary certificate page yet, so they stay unticked here pending a document.

The 1–10 scores on this page are an editorial preview, not a measured result. We have not run Murf through our own listening tests. The pricing and voice-count detail is read from Murf’s own pricing page, captured 2026-05-30. Language and cloning detail is cross-checked against Murf’s help centre.
